Ascend Autism’s ABA therapy centers provide personalized ABA therapy for children ages 18 months – 6 years old. Our programs are led by an experienced team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts and supported by Registered Behavior Therapists who provide fun, play-based ABA therapy services based on your child’s individual needs and goals. All services are covered by most commercial insurances and can act as a therapeutic alternative to daycare.

The full-day program is ideal for children ages 2-5 as well as working families. In this program, you child will be able to make significant progress while benefiting from a preschool structure that will prepare them for Kindergarten and beyond.
The half-day program is similar to the full-day program, but it has fewer hours per week.

Center-based ABA therapy is a type of program where your child receives one-on-one ABA therapy at an ABA center rather than at home. ABA centers provide safe and structured environments designed to help your child learn skills that will serve them it and outside of the home.
The structure and predictability of an ABA center allows children to feel safe and focus on skill building. Learning at a center also helps children generalize these skills to use them at home, in school, and out in public.
This type of therapy takes place in collaboration with Behavior Technicians and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA). Using their expertise, these specialists can review and adjust treatment as needed.
Compared to in-home therapy, learning in a center provides more opportunities to interact with new people, toys, and environments – all with fewer distractions.
Center-based therapy gives busy parents the opportunity to work, run errands, and complete other tasks while knowing their child is safe and receiving care. Our center-based programs include half-day, full-day, and after-school services.
Our full-day ABA program is best suited for younger children aged 18 months to 5 years and focuses on developing skills in four main areas: behavior, communication, activities of daily living, and social skills. This is a 35-40-hour weekly program and is ideal for busy families who want to maximize progress and outcomes to prepare their child for attending school.
Our half-day ABA therapy program offers similar benefits to the full-day program in a less intensive format of 20-25 hours per week during either a Monday - Friday morning or afternoon session.
This is a center-based program for school-aged children to improve communication, independence, and develop social skills while putting these skills into practice with other children of similar age. The after-school program has limited availability. Please contact Ascend Autism today to inquire about our after-school program.
Offered in accordance with NY State’s EI program¹, Ascend Autism offers two-hour early intervention ABA therapy sessions, five days per week. These services fit families who are unable to access our ABA services through their insurance or for children who do not have a formal autism spectrum disorder diagnosis.
