Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based approach that helps children develop skills that support everyday life. ABA focuses on understanding how children learn and uses individualized strategies to encourage meaningful, lasting progress.
At Ascend, ABA therapy is tailored to each child’s unique strengths and needs. Our center-based programs support development in areas such as communication, social skills, play, learning, independence, and daily living skills in an engaging and supportive environment.

Our office will contact your insurance company to verify benefits and we will send you an intake packet for your child.
Once your insurance benefits have been verified, we will arrange an assessment with one of our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA). The BCBA will use these assessments to develop a comprehensive treatment plan for your child.
Once a plan is ready, the BCBA will schedule a meeting with you to review the treatment plan and make any final adjustments before the first therapy session.
After the assessment, the BCBA will submit a service request to the insurance company to recommend the child’s specific hours or therapy. It generally takes about two weeks to process this request.
Once your treatment plan is finalized, we will contact you to coordinate a start date. Therapy begins!
