ABA Therapy and Autism Services FAQs

What is ABA therapy? How is ABA different from other therapies?

ABA stands for “applied behavioral analysis.” ABA differs from other therapies by using positive reinforcement to help teach new skills and behaviors in various scenarios autistic children will face in life, focusing on the relationship between learning and behavior. You can learn more about ABA from our “What is ABA?” article.

Is ABA therapy covered by insurance?

Fortunately, ABA services are covered by the majority of health insurance plans, including Medicaid. See a list of some of our accepted health insurance plans below.

How many hours per week do you provide ABA therapy?

Our Nashville-based center is open Monday through Friday, 8 am to 6 pm. The number of hours a child spends in therapy depends on their needs and their program level (full-day, half-day, after-school).
