1. Enroll with Ascend Autism
Enroll with Ascend Autism either online or by phone. To move forward with the registration process, parents must submit:
- Insurance card (front & back)
- ASD Evaluation report with an ASD diagnosis (completed by an MD, PhD or PsyD)
- In select circumstance the insurance may require a prescription or support letter from your doctor
Our office will contact your insurance company to verify benefits and we will send you an intake packet for your child.
2. Get an Assessment
Once your insurance benefits have been verified, we will arrange an assessment with one of our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA). The BCBA will use these assessments to develop a comprehensive treatment plan for your child.
Once a plan is ready, the BCBA will schedule a meeting with you to review the treatment plan and make any final adjustments before the first therapy session.
3. Begin Therapy Sessions
After the assessment, the BCBA will submit a service request to the insurance company to recommend the child’s specific hours or therapy. It generally takes about two weeks to process this request.
Once your treatment plan is finalized, we will contact you to coordinate a start date. Therapy begins!
